doublecmd-common software package provides twin-panel (commander-style) file manager, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install doublecmd-common
doublecmd-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the doublecmd-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep doublecmd-common *
You will get with doublecmd-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
